Nice looking bike. I'll take a stab at the hyper charger
1. Too many unnecessary working parts for an air cleaner
2. Because of the fact that it opens and closes it makes tuning it a bitch
3. All of the parts have cheap plating and wear very quickly
4. The hardware that holds the thing together gets stripped out easily
5. Remember all of those moving and little parts....well they can come loose and go into your motor
6. The diaphragm tends to wear and leaks also creating tune issues
You could have saved time and said it is made by Kuryakyn...
I've bought three things from them and owned four (one came with a bike I bought), each and every one failed and caused me problems.
I will never buy or recommend any of their parts ever!!!!!
Texas, I will say that everything my buddies have bought from the, cover wise, has always sucked. I was gifted some of their led turn signals and taillight for my dyna and they were exceptional. One of the nicest aftermarket led products that I have seen. I would still have the taillight if it didn't eject itself from my bike when I left a screw out (like an idiot).
Last year for the Evo RK and a good one, solid bikes
Ya, I looked for a while to find the right one. Wanted the newer style frame with the evo and a carb. Came across this one with a fresh rebuilt motor and set up the way I like. It came with the goofy hyper charger. So far it's been fine but will probably get it changed out this winter.
