The one piece on my FXR2 that isnt near mint is the air cleaner cover. It has an ugly scratch on the insert, and the chrome cover is a little scuffed. I found a NOS original FXR2 insert, but am having a hard time finding a new or nearly new chrome cover: 29165-89
Its this style, but I dont think it would work, as its missing the recess for the insert.

i have have never done it but I hear you can soak the cover in mineral spirits or similar over night to soften the adhesive on the insert. Should make it easier to switch out. Good luck with your new cover. YD
