I have a Bassani 2 into 1 and Im looking to modify it by adding a disc to the bar that is attached to the baffle, I am looking to quite it down a little and add some low end torque by adding back pressure and would like opinions on a few things. A: Would it quiet the bike down. B: Would it add low end torque by adding back pressure. C: Would it hamper performance and D: Would it do nothing at all.
I never modified an exhaust (well, except destroying some baffles) so I don't know if doing that will get you what you want. It seems to me that you are trying to reverse most of the things that make the Bassani a popular exhaust. Have you considered getting an exhaust that already is acceptable?

i ordered the quiet(er) baffle from them for my Road Rage. Also ordered a DK customs lollipop to try and do the same thing for the low end. Though the more I ride it, the less I’m worrying about the low end torque dip. My ears wouldn’t mind a few less DB’s though, so I’m going to try the baffle and see how it sounds.
from what I understand, lollipops don’t lower volume as much as alter tone. But that’s just from reading stuff.
Where in NY are you? If close you can always ride by and check out the sound of the “quite” baffle. I’m downstate in Westchester Co. Should be here Wed or Thurs.
