I installed the Lyndall pads today. I intended on removing those shims, but it didn’t look right so I left them. I haven’t been able to test them a) because it’s pouring rain, and b) I only had carb cleaner, no brake cleaner to wipe down the rotor from my greasy fingerprints. So I’ll pick up some tomorrow and go for a ride.
I read somewhere that Lyndall pads like a more aggressive bedding procedure then the usual “take it easy for the first 100 miles...”

I've been running Lyndall for years and I've never done anything special to bed them in.
I just get on the bike and ride normally.
