Has anyone used this battery in their bike? Manufactured in Grand Rapids Mi.

The battery in the bike is HD logoed, 330 cca and dives to 5v, Shake my head. When I bought the bike they installed the battery (2016). I checked the charging system no stator short, no draw (in series mA test) and charging to about 14.5v when on the throttle.
Anyway want to buy a new battery and like the idea of the higher cca’s
1. As Texas points out, your current battery is toast.
2. Unless you have a monster motor with stratospheric CR you don't need 500CCA!
3. A replacement 330CCA or similar will be just the ticket.
4. Make sure you buy an AGM type, to get best performance and service life.
Thanks fellas, only looking at the 500 cca because I can only find up to 310cca, haven't really started looking but the reviews on the 500cca are really good and I like that it is manufactured in the US.

I'm going to guess that the original battery on your bike was actually around 20Ah (CCA numbers were not commonly used back in the '90s), which corresponds roughly today to around 280CCA. So a modern 330CCA battery is an upgrade, with the added benefit of recent battery improvements giving enhanced performance, especially with an AGM type.
Next battery I'm gonna get is a Lithium-ion battery. The 320 cca version I found is 1/5 of the weigth and 3/4 of the size of an old lead-acid battery, and will last a heck of a lot longer.

I have a Li battery in my Glide, although I haven't had it long enough to prove it has a longer service life than a decent conventional battery. I had one of them last around 12 years, so the Li has some work to do!

12 years certainly ain't the norm. I consider 6 - 8 years of use very good, when it comes to cars and trucks. Concerning motorcycles, I've been disappointed after 2 years more than once. Over here, Li batteries are about 2 times the price of conventional batteries, and - for me - the difference in weight and size alone is worth the money.
But indeed, they certainly have to proof the reputation that precedes them.

I ordered the battery not because of its additional ca but because the cost was about the same as the others and it was a simple purchase. What I am most happy about is the size of the battery is way more narrow which has opened up room for connectors and my badlands load equalizer. Hopefully the battery will last longer than 2 years. The reviews speak highly and I hope to be as happy as those who reviewed it.
