So to update everyone-
bike started sputtering out, seemed like it was sucking too much air, was getting hot enough to turn the pipes cherry red at idle. Then the temp sensor cut it off. Waited a while, fired it up and rode to the hotel. Got there and pulled the tank, looking for flaws or air leaks in the system. While tank was off, reconnected the VOES. Turn bike on, press start, boom. It runs. Did happy man dance. Shot, runs too good, now idling at 1700. Turn idle down, ride my iron. Now it wil him 6k rpms and hit 105 on the 410 loop (for south Texas people lol).
And with that that hooked up god damn does cornering feel different. Lmao
