Default 1990 flhtcu mystery wire behind fairing

I've got all the fairing electrical connections together, but there is one wire that doesnt go anywhere, and I cant find it on my diagram. It's a blue and white wire, coming from one of the bigger wiring harnesses. It has a ring terminal to go on a circuit breaker, it's a factory wire. But i cant find where it goes, and I didn't remove it. I know it's a long shot, but any ideas? Everything electrical is now working, except the cruise control, which didnt work to begin with. Maybe it has something to do with that? Can i just hang it on a relay and be done?

If it wasn't connected before and without knowing what it goes to I'd just leave it unconnected when you reassemble your bike.

Looking at my FSM...

Page 8-44 doesn't list any blue/white wires for the cruise control.

Pages 8-107 and 8-109 don't either. Pages 8-119 and 8-120 list one for "white/violet". Could that be it?

I don't see blue/white anywhere on the diagrams.

It's def blue/white. The only other bl/w wire is going to the fender tip marker light, and it's coming of the cb for the lights .This one is running, I'd think, towards the back of the bike. All my rear lights work. It will drive crazy not knowing where it goes haha. But I'll prob do what tx says, and leave it alone

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say it goes to an option that your bike doesn't have.
When I got it my bike had a 4 wire plug that went to nothing.
I scratched my head about it for a while but then removed it an all associated wires so it didn't bother me anymore!!!!

Post a pic if you can, it may just jog a memory and help get to the bottom of the problem. I also don't recall any blue/white wires, but I don't have a proper wiring diagram for my 1990 International spec FLHS.
