89 FLSTC only a couple of miles from me. Priced a bit on the high side at $6500 but appears to have had a tom of performance work done to it. Just over 30K on the clock.
Looks clean . Would be worth checking out if he has receipts for the work done.
Both of those have been on CL for over a year. The wide glides dropped a little, the shovels price hasn’t changed.
When your ready, which ever one you pick Lowball
They weren’t selling during the summer months, so I wouldn’t expect them to sell right away
If your looking for a bagger, there’s a 90 ultra for sale on FB for 4500 in the western burbs
teal blue with 29000 miles
There’s only a couple bikes at the moment that really grab my attention, and the ultra’s one of them
Your threads giving some exposure to bikes that have been sitting a bit
Here's another a bit closer to you. A little dirty, and has a small sent in the tank, but the price seems reasonable for the miles. Maybe some haggling room. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...14163719169030
Always fun to look

TD, Give it some thought regarding getting a Shovelhead.
I'm gonna say, you will definitely spend more time doing mechanical work on a Shovel as opposed to an Evo.
Of course, as we all know, all mechanical devices need work at some point...just some need more than others and I think a Shovelhead, more than an Evo, needs an owner with time, tools and willingness to do maintenance...or a pocketbook big enough to pay for it to be done.
I'm not saying you are not that guy, just be prepared for it.
