I'd like to see the rest of that article on pushrod lengths after .550" lift and why it's critical... Thanks John...

Tell me how you are going to change the length of a push rod in an HD without addressing a BUNCH of other issues?
You are back to re-engineering the whole valve train.
That is why there are vendors in the business of addressing the rocker configuration.
It does not take a genius to understand where the tip will fall with longer or shorter PR.
But again, - we can't arbitrarily start swapping pushrod lengths without changing at least a few other things.
In a self-centering fulcrum (old ford style) the rocker could be raised or lowered.
If we are talking the V twin here there is only so much room in a hydraulic lifter to play with.
Solids none.
You come across as a smart ***.
No one knows everything, well except maybe Smokey Yunick.
Hey, if you know something I / we don't know, teach us show us.
But thus far you are repeating txt from books that will not work on a HD.
I am wrong about lots of stuff, but then again I am right about a few things too.
So teach mistro.
Don't just throw some dribble out there.
If you can't explain it you don't know the subject very well.

and can be cured with just pushrod length and then don't explain how.
How?
If your purpose was to come on here and show everyone your checkered flag, well congrats.
But that was hardley the topic.

I could have saved HUNDREDS of dollars!
If you knew, that I could just go dwn and have a bought a set of longer or shorter pushrods
to center my rockers, WHY DID YOU NOT JUST TELL ME!

These must be magic and I want to know where to get them!
