Love the Evo’s
Nothing beats a properly massaged 98 and up fxr.
that said, I am in the market for a 2007 and up 1200 sporty.. Add a few mild ups and call it done!
But yeah, there are a few things I din’t like about the 2018 line up.
Nice ride Ace!
Not really bashing M8 even though Id never own the technological boondoggle. So many people talk about how quick they are never tried the S&S. So my point was kudos to the humble 111.

Yea... True... But, I was serious about seeing some Hot Shoes at a Harley Drag Racing event...

BTW I have yet to be able to post on any "tech" thread, how we do it at the DragStrip, that someone doesn't admonish that "We Ain't Racing Here"

Don't blame Ace one bit, he has a gorgeous bike with plenty of power sending a message old bikes still rule. You can sure as heck bet if a $38,0000 M8 big cube bike pulls away from a 80" Evo, the owner is going to think a saddle bag full of payment books is worth it.
I ride with Shovels, Evo's, Twinkies, M8's and we make fun and bash each others model, the white bike gets called gay because Harley's are not white, my Roadglide isn't considered a Harley by looks and a chain driven engine, M8's are Space Shuttles with stereo's louder than the engine, Shovels are model T's with a crank start. It's all in fun but when it's my turn to talk crap a simple why is your bike so slow shuts up any model poo poo slinger. Can see where Ace is coming from.

There are a whole lot of Keyboard Speedsters ... It's always fun to head over to Milan or US-131 and watch the boys with the faster scooters :>)

I don't see any model bashing in this thread.

I see some chuckling and praise of some older simpler bikes.

If that offends someone then that person probably needs to reconsider his lifestyle or life choices,

Today, I identify with an Evo.

Street and strip racers in the Tech and Mechanical section, start a thread there on How You Do It, they will come.

Nice ride! But you are comparing a modded bike to a non-modded one. I see these comparisons all the time in the car forums where the guy running the older vehicle claims his old ride is faster than a new ride from the showroom. Unfortunately, when someone mods that new vehicle, the results are quite different.

Sometimes I get overly defensive of my poor little twink. And I woke up with a few aches.
Bash on! LOL
