So, if you google anything about motorcycle headlights you'll get anything BUT a traditional halogen sealed beam....and I need two! What do you guys like out there? Doesn't need to be fancy just good dependable sealed beam......fitting of course my 89 FLTCU
Why would you get a sealed beam? Get a headlight that uses the replaceable inner bulb then at least you can put in a Silver Star bulb because the stock light output sucks.
Well....the microfiche at the dealer said sealed beam for whatever reason....but now that the water is muddy....what do I use....H3 or H4? I can pick any number of those so long as I get the right one. And if it is a replaceable bulb type I know a couple of cheesy Chinese LED upgrades that actually work. (Most of them have a short life but I digress.....)
Welp....I was resistant to tearing the bulbs out to LOOK and see what I need.....but you guys are forcing my hand.....it ain't right....I should be able to walk in and say gimme two of those!
I really don't like riding at night any more than I have to, but I gotta tell you, the TruckLite LED three-light (headlight and running lights) setup I put on my '90 was the best money I ever spent. Not cheap, but when its night and you're winding through unknown back roads in Oklahoma looking for the campground, you'll know where that money went.

But my pockets are shallow compared to your's....LOL...

And they draw about half the amps, less load on the charging system.

That's why I put LED on my Suzuki...it's alternator needs the breathing room badly......I put one on a Sportster I had, but it was one of the cheesy ones and it did not last long.
