Default Where does this go?

I have a 1992 Heritage Softail with the stock CV carb. At the bottom of the carb is a small rubber hose that looks like a vacuum line that is not connected to anything at the other end. I may be imagining things but it seems to pull a vacuum when the bike is running so I was wondering if it is a vacuum line or a drain of some kind?

A picture would help here. But it's probably your overflow vent line to the carb

It sounds like it's the hose that connects to the VOES (vacuum operated electrical switch).

if it is coming from the bottom of the carb and running toward the ground it is the overflow hose

It should go behind the rear pushrod covers and hang just below the frame behind the engine. It's the overflow hose from the float.
