A couple of years ago I decided to upgrade the front brakes on my 97 softail and bought a "Floating Rotor" (thinking about reverting to a "standard type rotor due to noise) together with a Dual Piston Caliper that was "suppose to be" a simple direct bolt on replacement for the oem caliper - it wasn't!

So, can someone recommend a good dual piston (or better) direct bolt on replacement, no extra's/adapters needed, for the oem front caliper (single rotor/disc) please? Also, I bought braided lines as well but gave them away when the caliper didn't fit without adapters and other crap. So am also looking for top quality brake lines as well.

Thanks Hackd and have heard good things about Wilwood Brakes so will give them a try. I see they have a direct bolt on 4 piston caliper as well, that'd be a bonus I think. Also like the look of those Russel Lines as well. Thanks for the links mate.

 

I got the Wilwood calipers, along with their rotors and Russell braided lines. Big improvement over stock. Plus they look good.
