how were you able to determine the weight ratio of this particular lube?
Either link you provided made no reference to that at all.
And again LOL, yet another lube specified for a certain engine compartment being used for a totally different application. Other than what it was designed for.
When did lube, become just lube?
Or was that always the case?
After all, we are discussing fork oil.
I looked at the, thank you for providing them. But it all went over my head.
Can’t calculate all that and come
up with 15w LOL
Why we have people like you on this planet bro
I change mine every couple of years, but the stuff coming out looks just like the stuff going in!! Maybe the old is a tad darker.
I've done mine a couple of times in the last six years. Getting ready to do them again when I install the new lowers and emulators. Probably going back with 10wgt.
First time I went through and changed bushings and seals etc as I wasn't sure about the maintenance.
There was a lot of crud so my guess is it had been awhile if ever.
Good info 97bagger
Mountain, how hard is it to install those immulaters? Hear all kinds of positive inputs about them. Thanks bro
They go on top of the damper tube and the spring holds them in place. If you do them you need to open the holes in the damper tube to at least 1/4", and there adjustable. I had mine adjusted a little tighter for a bit more dampening...3/4 turn.
