Time to work backwards, wires, coil, trigger, CPS....... Again single or dual fire,?
One more thing, if your gonna own a Harley then I suggest you get a Factory Service Manual..........

I concur with 98...the FSM, and the guys on the EVO forum, will be your scooter's best friend.
The coil looks like pretty much a sealed unit, but water + electronics don't mix. I bow to experience.
