then there shouldn't be an issue with the way I explained earlier about plumbing the cooler than to the oil filter cuz it's all on the back side of the pump so it really doesn't matter the filter mount is more of a pain as anything else so why even ****ing bother with it.. unless that is you think you need the thermostat in there but I haven't run mine with it and I've never had any issues ever..
Why don't you just buy the right oil cooler? Or is the problem a sandwich plate that goes on the oil filter spinon? Harely's don't need that. Just get an oil cooler with a built in thermostat or a separate thermostat and plumb it all in the line between the oil filter and the tank, like God intended. Or in Texas, don't even bother with the thermostat, as you'll only need it for that second week in February when it is "winter." Put a cover over the cooler that week and you're done.
