Might want to see if Paugcho makes frames for that , is so a phone call could land you what you need. I’ve done that with gussets and formed tube sections a couple times years back when doing custom stuff

That's who I'm talking to...he will know more next week. His "builder" in in Sturgis....lol. I did talk to Dr. Johns today and was quoted $600-$800 to do the repair like factory, they also said that it's VERY common and have done over 100 old FLH frames with the same issue. Mostly bikes from the beach area's here in Socal. A new frame is $1800 plus.
