Timing pickup lines?

Hi guys,

Curious if anyone knows the number of degrees between each of the lines stamped into the timing pickup plate are worth on the evo?

I have heard it said 5 degrees per... But, I never time by absolute numbers...each engine is different.

^^^ I am more inclined to believe 2 to 2-1/2, just because the Plate is at 1/2 of Crankshaft, and the "window" or "throw" , appears to me to be 22-1/2 degrees!!!
