Default Heading to H-town

This Friday, I'm heading on a ride to Houston from Phoenix to visit family. Taking it easy on the byways, and will be at the Bent Rim Grill in Leaky, Texas on Sunday for lunch at 1pm, if anyone is near and wants to meet and greet. It will be the first long trip since putting in a rebuilt Evo motor this past summer. Looking forward to cooler weather and some motorcycle camping.

Dave, I won't be able to meet ya in Texas, but give me a yell when ya get back to Phoenix and we can meet up sometime. Just got back from a ride up to Prescott to help my old Navy buddy work on his 78 FLH last weekend. It's finially starting to cool down here so the temps were perfect and it was a great ride up through the back roads.

Definitely, been trying to get a meet and greet in AZ. A run up to Prescott for some food sounds good. I have a Shovel also, but it doesn't get ridden a lot. Evos have spoiled me.

Had an awesome trip. 3,300 flawless Evo miles. Shortest day-396 miles, Longest day-750 miles. Camped in the mountains of Las Cruces, NM; lake Armistad near Del Rio, and in Odessa, Texas. Great food, and roads like Three Sisters in the Hill country never gets old. Got heat, cold, rain, etc.... and the Evo was rock solid. Had to only add 1 quart of oil throughout the whole trip.

LOVE THE EVO!
