JPJ I like it alot,it comes in where I run,I'd call it a great in n outa traffic cam.
I had her up to 100 mph 2day w alot left.
Very quick acceleration w a nice lumpy sound in my carbuerated 98 FXD. Exhaust notes are guteral, individual and much deeper than the stock N grind. Not sure how long I'll have it in cuz I got my eye on the fueling reaper 518 but fer now I'm going to be content to run and enjoy it.
I'm never gonna run my bike over 5 grand let alone 6k where my rev is set the 13s range is from idle to roughly 4200 rpm and has great lowend torque,it gives up a little early n leave you wanting a bit more but by then your nearing 100 mph n sooner or later its not gonna end well if I had more, which is another reason for this cam.
I'm 58 yrs old w/a titanium knee n my hotdogin days are over I just wanted to be able to jump quickly in traffic if necessary n pass going uphill w/o downshifting,it will do everything I ask of it. The 27 is a great cam n I've ridden a FXR w one in it. It pulls pretty hard from 2500- till ya roll off n that's a problem alot of guys want but it's not for me....never say never. I may get bored n want more.

I have similar early intake closing cams in an Eglide (Andrews N21s). Ive since acquired a 99 Heritage which is much lighter and wondering which way to go.

From what I understand from some local builders the 13 is better for heavier bikes because of the low end torque and the 27 is better for lighter bikes for the mid range torque.
At 700+ lbs your Heritage isn't exactly a light bike.
I don't know if you're familiar with Kirby Apathy, but he did some heads for me and when I asked him about he he suggested the 13 as well. Just what constitutes a light HD?

If you want ths skinny tween the 13 and the 27 call Andrews 847-759-0190. I have n can save u some time. Either one is good they're nearly identical, 99% of the population wouldn't be able to tell the difference is what the tech support staff told me, your doin too much hand wringing.
Figure out where you spend most of you time on the tach n choose accordingly. If you see my post above that's why I took the 13 over the 27. I run a Dyna superglide at 536# a light bike n should probably have the 27.
2 parts same page. Match the cam by counting down.
