Not likely to use this tank, I think the bike is a bit bulky for a tank that little. So I plan on a wide glide front with a older split tank look. But things could change I'm not completely committed to that look.

Had to take the valve covers off to fit it in there. I have the adapters on the way. Once it is all set in 100% it may have just enough clearance to work, but the way it is looking so far I will need to change some stuff.

That's an easy fix! Take a peen hammer to the front downtubes after heating for clearance at the front. The rear is easy too! Take a grinder and shave down so of the fin material for clearance.

Yea that would be one way for sure. I'm thinking I may cut the rear tube out and make a new radius'd seat tube to replace it. Then the front may be along the same lines, I'll know more once the valve covers go on. I know for sure they can't right now.
