WooHoo!!
We never talked about that, guess I'll find out when I pick it up.
Paint for me... but... Whatever blows yer skirt up!!!!!
My view is that powder is better in every respect save one: If you have occasion to modify a painted frame (like weld on an attachment bracket or something), you can grind away as much paint as necessary, do the welding, then touch up the paint and get a good result. Can't do that with powder.
Powder caused any number of ground loop problems on our DragBike... but, it had fairly sophisticated electronic **** on it... and really had ground problems... until we removed the powder [not Cheap like Paint] and Painted it...
Then, there is the fact that I do Not own a Chassis that don't have at least one stone chip in it somewhere... easily and Cheaply touched up... can't tell the difference...
My Experience with Powder on this alone is enough to sour me... Nah... I think it is yet another "buzzword"... like Single Fire!!!! or "Stage 2" No Thanks [except Singlefire has a use with dual plugs]
Finally, as a matter of personal preference... I dislike that Shiney-ness... Pimp Shined I call it... But... that is Not a Valid Complaint in general...

That's amazing! Never would have thought of that.
I was amazed when I got the frame on my bobber powdered. They had 18 different "blacks" to pick from...varying from degree of gloss and degree of blackness. I had always thought powder meant choosing from a handful of basic, primary colors, all high gloss. Anymore, those guys have as many color choices as painters.
