I was amazed when I got the frame on my bobber powdered. They had 18 different "blacks" to pick from...varying from degree of gloss and degree of blackness. I had always thought powder meant choosing from a handful of basic, primary colors, all high gloss. Anymore, those guys have as many color choices as painters.
Now that is something I did Not Know... color choices... still ain't gonna use it... maybe for someone else that wants it... But not for me..
Ground loops???? yup, it is a real Thing...and can Make you Crazy!!!! So, Never on a [gas] Dragbike...

Being on the east coast it won't do you any good.....Dr John (as he's known) has been fixing mc frames forever around here. Probably one of the best frame shops in the country and HD is his specialty.

Must have missed the call,...the frame is done, I'll be picking it up on Monday.

He said that he went completely over the frame and the areas below the pillow blocks was the only rust he could find. He also said that all of the early frames will eventually rust there cause the Moco welded the brace at the bottom trapping any water that gets in there. The Moco figured it out and left it open on the later frames. He also said that the backbone was twisted around 2.5*, but straightened nicely and is true now. $700.00 for the whole deal...it'll be a month or so till I can buy some more parts for her...sniff.
