What really hacks me off is that both my parents survived the so-called Spanish Flu at the end of WW1, which killed umpteen millions worldwide. And here we all are, suckered in by a virus that is not expected to be any more serious than annual seasonal flu, which we make no fuss about!

Indeed so, I've just seen our tv news. I'm busy servicing our two bikes, with plans to visit Belgium and France in May. That's now looking increasingly unlikely.

Not completely yet. The other two bikes take priority at the start of the season, however with each new day it looks as if the entire World is going to go into lockdown over this effing virus before long, so our planned trip may get canned. The World's gone crazy....

Many years ago I coined the expression 'the great safety neurosis'. I don't recall what prompted me, it is so long ago, but it keeps being relevant year by year!
