I did a Sporty battery in my 89 when I did the relocation. The regular battery gave me 3 tries to start the bike before it couldn't spin the engine any longer. That being said, if I do this again I would use something like this Shorai Lithium Iron Extreme-Rate Battery 21AH/12V/315CC that fits in the area and has plenty of power for our bikes.
