Default Front end set up

Hey guys, I have just ordered some std progressive fork springs / std height thinking that this would be an improvement over stock..... However since ordering I've done more reading and it seems this modification alone with a an oil change is not going to help me much at all - especially when I'm only 150lbs...

What are your opinions on a moderate front suspension upgrade on a 41mm FLSTN softail ? I could possibly send the springs back if I have to.

I already have a good rear suspension set up in the rear with a custom suited set of YSS shocks. Sorry, just realised should have put this in the suspension section 🙄
Thanks for any advice.

Personally I've been happy with my progressive fork springs.

Default springs

what's your objective? progressive will firm up softail front end. if you want it firmer just go with a heavier oil also.
i have progressive with screaming eagle oil which is 15wt front is firm, you can experiment with different oil weights

hey darylnj, my objective is simply a better ride that soaks up the bumps of the bad roads we have here, as well as good damping control so the ride is smoother and I don't bottom out, and reduce brake dive. All that may be a little too much to ask I have a feeling that 🤔

Should have stated at the beginning that my objective is simply a better ride that soaks up the bumps of the bad roads we have here, so the ride is smoother and I don't bottom out, and reduce brake dive. Better damping I guess is probably needed to achieve this?

Thanks
