ok fellas, turns out i'm not to smart or just didn't notice the idle was low, turned the idle up a bit and it was fine..
on another note the spring for the idle screw is not strong enough to keep it from un turning and lowing my idle... do you think a drop of Green Loctite would be ok to put on the threads to keep it from moving?

I'd try blue before I tried green.

How about buying a new spring? I'm not sure that Loctite in a carb is a good idea!

GBrown. i have triend multiple springs last year. the carb is only a year old so it's not warn out.. if i can find small enough washers i will try that first. trust me i'm in no hurry to put Locktite on there but i can't have the bike shutting off or idling too high...

You sure you don't have a vacuum leak going on somewhere causing an erratic idle at times. I've never seen a spring cause that problem on the idle adjustment. Which carburetor do you have?

How about marking the screw's position at the ideal adj. and see if it is in fact turning
