great suggestions...running a Super G.... got home in time to miss the storms tonight so tomorrow i'll be testing the screw itself... changed plugs today and they looked real good...

You can call S&S and they should be able to get you a new spring.. can't be that much.. part number 67-562. Motor vibrations can cause weird things to happen.. my 96" Evo at higher rpm's would actually vibrate the full petcock closed. 6000-6500 range..
