Default Best "2nd" Evo

With Alma getting close to the rider stage, she will essentially be done, and I'll be looking for another project to play with.

What's one of the best "other" bikes, I've only owned FL's all my life. I did ride a TC Heritage for a day with the 88B engine, but that's it.

This is to each each his own thread but the Badboy just turns me on, unfortunately it's not popular for big people but would love to have one. FXR seems to popular for many reasons especially coming off a large barge FL

I gotta go FXR as well... you will Never be happy till you have one...and you will never be happy without one...once you had it!!!

An E-motor Dyna is....Ok... but won't ever be an FXR

Edit; For "cool" factor...a 4 speed from 1985 or 1986 is very hard to beat!!!!

FXRs are fashionable and expensive these days.

I don't know sht about Dynas or Springers but I would find an old Evo Dyna and make it a Springer. Chain drive and spokes. A real retro mechanical looking machine.

Cool

Having bought a new FX1200 I really, really, fancied an Ironhead as a second bike. Every time I rode one I was put off the darned things, until the itch returned. Repeat! Fortunately modern Sporties are Evos and the rubber-mounts are great - hence many years after I first thought of buying a Sporty I now have one - plus a Firebolt of course! So they are alternative suggestions for 2nd and 3rd Evos, although I would probably put 'Buttercup' as 2nd….

I've done a couple pre 2004 Sportsters ... they are easy to work on, lots of options available, and fun as hell to ride afterward until I sell them to do another

Evo Dynas are out there for under $5k for really nice bikes. Can't go wrong with them, buy the best one you can afford.
