Instead of looking for an FLHS.....I would be looking at Road Kings myself. There’s lot more to pick from.
True on the RK. I just like the overall simplicity of the FLHS design. There are a couple closer to me (Montana area and Sonora CA) that I will probably check out. The one in Montana is Mandarian Orange , the one nearby has apes but is the basic black. Both are in the 4-5k range. The one I posted is an asking price of 5K

The polished parts and lack of chrome are also reasons I like the FLHS. The design was retired when MoCo introduced the RK in 94.

Same reason I bought mine new - also it was the cheapest Glide! As for the one you posted it may simply be that a PO spent a lot of effort glamming it up in the style of an RK.
Bike looks clean.What’s especially nice on this one is it already has been chromed where you want it.Also,the splined shaft and later starter.Hit EM with a lower $ 4-5 k only.Then might be worth considering?
