I discovered that my front top rocker cover is just a tiny bit untrue. Can these be milled given that they are chrome, or can I use some sealant with the gasket, or do I just need to get a new set for the front? Rear is fine. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Is your middle warped too?
Regardless there is no need to buy a set you can just replace the warped ones and you are good.
Put a sheet of sandpaper on a piece of glass and lap it in.
Along those lines, granite countertop shops are a great source for flat, hard surfaces. They have scrap pieces (sink cutouts, etc) that they don't have much use for. When I got mine, I just went in and asked and they let me pick through the boneyard out back and take one.

Ok, ordered a new top rocker cover for the front. It was definitely much truer than the stock. The replacement is Harley from surdyke. I installed and now the top is not leaking, but I am now getting a very small leak between the middle and bottom pieces. It's not as much as before but still there.
so I took it to my local Indy who knows evos pretty well. He removed the top and middle covers, verified that they are completely level and sit tight together, cleaned and put new gaskets on, put it back together and it still has a very small leak between middle and bottom. He is very careful and I trust him, but we are both stumped. There's nothing obvious. So he is going to remove again, and in the meantime I thought I would come back here and see if anyone has additional ideas or suggestions as to what might still be causing this leak. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
