FWIW I think a closer analogy would be windshield wipers on a wind shield. JMO
It don't matter to some and that's fine. You are what I would call a hammer mechanic. Duct tape for the screws and bailing wire for the dowel pins. Some people are more meticulous. I want my stuff dialed down to a few thousanths of an inch. Dead true is where everything operates at peak performance. Yeah the stuff will run way out I get it, but I'll bet your bikes leak like pigs from every seal. That's my guess.

It took you 4 years to figure this out? Sounds like you wanna feel self righteous. Feeling down?
