I've had the stock and the screaming eagle module.
Not much difference between them to me.

The best ignition module I've used so far is the Dynatek 2ki.
Starting the bike is so much easier with it than any other I've tried.

the only difference I've know of is the higher RPM limit with the SE. I ran my 85 evo up to 6000 once.... that was enough for me.

I believe that to be correct with the p model ignition modules, If you can get the j module for the sportsters they had different advanced curves as well as an 8,000 RPM rev limiter. Still looking for my info I had, hopefully I'll find it...
