Dumb......but Happy
After I discovered the "noise" in the primary I put the drain pan under her and drained it. Left it under till yesterday when I decided to open it up and see what I can see. That's when I noticed the smell, and the lack of fluid! After a little investigation I found that I never changed the cleaning mixture that I put in the primary....it was a couple of days or longer since I'd done it and completely forgot that it was in there when I started her for the first time. Guess I need a "white" board cause memory failed me on it.
After replacing the fluid with the correct type, and amount.....the primary is quiet once again and the only noise I have is the "I have a cam" Evo drivetrain noise.....LOL

I'm going to fess up - last fall I was working on my primary and had two bottles of ATF, I drained the smaller one and apparently got distracted without pouring in more ATF to the proper level. It cost a lot more than embarrassment. I was really pissed at myself for making such a bone headed error.
