Autozone will test for free and they sell the same battery Harley does under a different name for a lot less.
Wasn’t aware autozone could load test so that will be much easier, and as for the battery I just ordered it from parts unlimited so I can have it exchanged if there’s an issue
I know you said you rebuilt the starter solenoid, sometimes things go wrong. Would it hurt to double check it?
certainly wouldn’t hurt, I’ve checked it probably a dozen times now, but first things first I’m gonna get my battery loaf tested and spend the whole $5 on a new main breaker. I’ll keep you all posted on the results
This may or may not apply to you but about a year ago I had to replace the starter on my Heritage and during reassembly I didn't get the outer primary on square.
I have a 20 amp fused wire connecting my positive post to pin 30 on the starter relay and every time I hit the start button it would blow the fuse.
After I went back and pulled the outer primary and made sure I got it on square then everything worked fine and has ever since.
Never heard of a solenoid pulling in halfway either it pulls in all the way or it doesn't pull in at all.. I think the problem lies with when you said, you rebuilt it.....
