On a wide glide, I'd probably use a 5. On a fat boy or an FLH a 6. On a Sportster a 3 or 4, depends on how much it's built..

Default Voes now working

Got a new hose and hooked up Voes. I works! I definitely was missing something major in throttle response. I'm just gonna repress all the thoughts of all the miles I put on with it not running properly.

It does run slightly rich feeling though. I had taken the bike to an indy shop for a leaking tappet block and had mentioned see what he thought of the tuning last year. Apparently he didn't notice the voes issue but had mentioned he worked on the pilot jet.
I'm thinking he changed it. I got the standard 25 on order. I think a simple swap out will bring it back to life even better.

Just so you know I'm running a HSR 42 on a 89 stroker and the pilot is only a 22.5 and it's extremely snappy...

Update from my previous post about the 22.5 pilot on HSR 42.. sometimes memory fails me.. The 22.5 is on my toolbox so obviously I'm running a 25, my bad sorry about that. Memory doesn't always get me there..

When you change your mikuni pilot jet, do you have to adjust air/fuel mixing screw each time??

I wasn't the one messing with the carb. A shop here in Maine missed it. NOT taking it back to them
