Thanks guys, does anyone know why my 1996 FLSTN split tank has 2 lower nipples at the front? It already has the crossover vent higher up, so what are the 2 lower hoses for. Are they for an actual fuel crossover between the two tanks? That would make sense and make both tanks even with fuel?
Thanks ranger73, is that to a stock oem petcock with the smaller barb? Did you just tighten it down with a clamp?
cheers
Yes, My OEM hose cracked at the petcock so I had to replace it. 5/16ths came off so 5/16ths went back on.
The worm clamp will have no problem squeezing it tight.
The hardest part was getting it back through the hole in the frame

EDIT: yep they are.
Thanks
The lower is the fuel cross over the upper is air because only the right side is vented.
