I bought it a couple weeks ago and just now got some photos. I immediately had to tear into it to fix a starting issue. The starter would continue to spin after the button was released.
Anyway, here are some photos. I fell for the bike because of the dark purple color which I've never seen on any bike. It's in fairly rough shape. I don't think it's been washed in five years and has dents, scratches and paint chips. Mechanicals are still being gone through.
Its hard to catch the purple color. It looks black in photos.
I believe that's an FXR "Superglide". The FXRS had dual disc front brakes.

I bought one in 1985 and have yet to find any bike I would prefer to own. As a result...I'm still riding the first one I bought. Hope you get that one cleaned up a bit, and enjoy a LOT of miles on it.
