Upgrading this bike is becoming an obsession of mine. Well, the planning is atleast. As far as upgrades go, I haven’t gone too deep into the application, but I have tons of ideas.
The idea is to make a bike that incorporates unique features from bikes across Harley’s history. The bike itself is a 1992 FLHTP, which is the police version of the FLHS, already a unique bike.
My current stage of this ongoing project is changing out the old “Breadbox” instrument cluster and replacing it with a 2014 Road King Nacelle. I’ve also switched the ignition switch to a toggle. I’ll include pictures below of how it goes.
I am planning on putting Knucklehead-style flex heat shields and slip ons with rocket tips. My question is, does anyone know of unique features that Harley’s included through time that would be wild to see on a bike like mine?
