My supertrapp supermeg came in yesterday for my 1994 Road King. As soon as I got it I mocked it up and marked the O2 sensor locations (for a wego 3 afr meter) and then dropped it off at the welder. I'll pick it up and install it later. It didn't even think of the O2 sensors when I purchased it or I would have ordered a different model. I'm excited to see how the bike runs and sounds with it since I discovered a few exhaust leaks (black soot at joints and the front head) when I removed the old system. This will hopefully be the final piece of my winter top end project. I'm starting with 20 discs by the way.
I installed the AEM (30-4110) UEGO AFR in my 94 Ultra Classic on a Supertrapp as well back in 2015. I scored the exhaust second hand almost brand new for $200 and I love the setup.
I expect that is because if set up as designed , it`s just not noisy enough for the loud crowd
That and the look of the closed end cap.
I love the sound of a loud pipe like the fatcat but I already have hearing damage so it's not worth it. I had fatshot slipons on my old bike and loved the quiet. The only thing I didn't like sound wise was the muffled idle but I think I may have damaged the discs by over tightening them. I didn't do that this time so I'm excited to see if there is a difference.
