Check my signature, keep them both. Then get something older with even more personality. Different bikes for different riding. I could justify 5 more bikes, if I had the room. Plus a muscle car and a traditional hot rod, a cool Van, etc, etc, etc. Good luck.

if you are on the EVO forum, I think you already know the answer.
Plus, think of all the extra jingle in your pocket when you sell the '20

IMHO, if you currently outright own the 20-year model bike it wouldn't make sense to get rid of it just add to your collection.. You'll be much happier down the road if you kept it... I've sold things before that I know I shouldn't have and because it was mine nobody else's and I regretted it.. IE: my chromed out 76 Super Glide...

My limiting factor is room. I have room for two bikes. It's not about building a collection. The M8 is nice, but uninspiring. I've come to realize that I can throw lots of money at the Heritage trying to make it into something I itch to ride...and that will certainly cost as much as I could potentially lose selling it. I bought it because my Ultra was lots heavier than I wanted to deal with...my knees are not cooperating in this aging process! An evo Road King weighs the same as the M8 Heritage (697 lbs dry) according to the specs I could find.. Granted, the M8 is lots faster, with many more features, but it doesn't move me. And, yeah, I am turned off by the technology. I'm not a luddite, but simple is better and I can fix simple. I look forward to riding the evo. I looked forward to riding my shovel when I had it. The other choice is that I can shut up and be grateful for what I have. Having too many motorcycles is a luxury problem! LOL

Before you get too excited about selling a bike, have you looked around for EVO road kings lately? I look through Craigslist down here by me nearly every day and EVO road kings just aint' around.

I recently strolled through a dealership to get a look at the Pan Am. The new bikes are pretty and seem seamlessly well melded together. Very expensive.

They don't do anything for me.

The Evo Road King is a perfect blend of simplicity and reliability. I can keep this running forever. It carries all the **** I like to take with me these days, I can load it up or strip it down, for a ride into the night or into next week. It does this comfortably and with only a minor investment.

If I had to choose one bike for the last time.....
