I have two bikes...a 1999 FXST and a 2020 Heritage. I like them both, but only the evo has a personality. The M8 is kinda bland. I'm thinking of selling the Heritage and buying an evo Road King. Am I crazy?
It's all about what makes you happy. That's all that matters. I've always had Shovels and Evo's but recently purchased a twin cam Dyna and I like that one too but it's all about personal preference...
After picking up the FXST, I quickly realized that had I gotten it earlier, I would not have bought the Heritage. It makes me smile in a way that the Heritage never does. My wife asked me the other day "Which one are you going to sell? They look about the same to me." She is only seeing two black bikes of similar size, but it got me thinking.
Keep them both, all depends on what your riding entails, for long trips, Heritage is the way to go. For around town and just cruising around, the FXST is the best. My 2019 Trike is great for long trips and day long rides; however, the Sportster had personality and is great for putting around town.
