Default Saddlebag Lights

Can anyone tell me about these saddlebag lights? I just bought this 98 Ultra. They light up. I've seen some similar pics with one row of lights, but never two. I'm debating whether to leave them on or pull them off. They all work. I thought they were just reflectors at first.

Double stacked "Electra-Glo" light rails part# 90534-97 $950.

Lighted directional bar part# 68143-98 $115.00

License plate light kit part# 68230-97A $169.95

Chrome triple rail fender trim part# 91019-92A $72.50

There's another $450. worth of lights and chrome on the Tour Pak, but the upper wrap-around lights "may" have come from factory since it's an Ultra. If not, they were $199. alone.

Prices listed from 2002 accessory catalog.

My thought has always been, if it makes you more visible it's a good thing. Leave 'em on for now and if it bothers you later just take 'em off. Keep in mind that it might get a little nasty under them having never been exposed to being cleaned/polished.

Never had a set of the Electra Glo lights but always liked the way they looked in the evening ... Not so much of a fan of the wrap around chrome on the tour pack light nor the wraparound on the license plate ... Congrats on your new to you scooter

I have the single stack version on my 94 Ultra and like them overall. More light is better.
