Legend AXEO fork drop ins for 93 FXRS
Really needing some advice with the Legend Axeos. Firstly, regretting all ready replacing my air ride. But I wanted to update my handlebars something fierce. So I bought the kit.
A little background. There isn’t ONE review of this kit (besides on Dynas and sponsored shops) being installed on an FXR. Bought them anyways. Front and back.
Here’s the issue. The main spring below the cartridge, deviates during compression enough, that it impacts the fork tube/slider. You can hear it at idle rattling, and more disturbing a terrible clattering hitting quick bumps. The more jolt the louder the racket. The noise could only be described in words like as if your double calipers were loose and jump around when you hit bumps in the road.
Has anyone else experienced this? Legend is starting a campaign in their emails to me that the FXRS isn't included in their FXR fitment guide. They’re saying my fork tubes aren’t the same length. They however are identical to all the FXR models between 88-93 (According to HD and their factory parts manual, exceptions being the FXRT)
Im on my second kit (they thought the first was defective) and the noise is still present and just as disturbing.
