Yankee Dog.I would love to ride that part of the country. Very beautiful. A friend and his wife road up from East Texas and crossed the Mackinac Bridge a few years ago. On a Valkyrie.

EVO getting it done. There is no mention in the title of a specific model. "EVO can still hack it."

I do like any EVO tho a couple were a royal PIA at times

I'll admit a RK just tops MY list

Met some nice people from Missouri taking a trip in the Upper. A Dyna pulling a trailer and his wife road a bare bones sporty.

Again, good people and they asked about places to see in the lower.

They got the biggest kick about how us Michigan people use our hand as a map (mitten). Every time I did that they laughed. It’s just second nature for us Michigan peeps.

My 89 evo hacked it without a problem. BTW my top speed was 110 before the front end started coming loose.

I'm partial to my 97 Evo RK. It's a proven reliable and serviceable machine that won't cost a fortune.

I've never understood the allure of making a motorcycle complex and expensive.

These Evos just keep going. Take mine on a 2,500+ ride every year. Picture of my 96' Road King at Colfax, NM better known as Cold Beer, NM back in August.

I rode my 95 Road King 1,000 miles to see my brother a while back, then 1,000 miles home. No problem. I think I checked the tire pressure before I left and that was about it.

The only time she has ever failed to start was when a Chinese battery died without warning. Was running fine when I went into the diner. Came out and not even a "click". So lesson learned: stick with Deka, Motobatt or Yuasa (if you are wealthy!).

If i could only have one it would definitely be a EVO. Good to see people logging some good times on them.
