Evos Can Still Hack It.
Yankee Dog.I would love to ride that part of the country. Very beautiful. A friend and his wife road up from East Texas and crossed the Mackinac Bridge a few years ago. On a Valkyrie.
Stop..... There is no truth to that statement.. in their own way each model Evo has a specific quality...
I do like any EVO tho a couple were a royal PIA at times
I'll admit a RK just tops MY list

Again, good people and they asked about places to see in the lower.
They got the biggest kick about how us Michigan people use our hand as a map (mitten). Every time I did that they laughed. It’s just second nature for us Michigan peeps.
These Evos just keep going. Take mine on a 2,500+ ride every year. Picture of my 96' Road King at Colfax, NM better known as Cold Beer, NM back in August.
Sitting in front of Maggie's Diner in Madrid, NM.
I rode my 95 Road King 1,000 miles to see my brother a while back, then 1,000 miles home. No problem. I think I checked the tire pressure before I left and that was about it.
The only time she has ever failed to start was when a Chinese battery died without warning. Was running fine when I went into the diner. Came out and not even a "click". So lesson learned: stick with Deka, Motobatt or Yuasa (if you are wealthy!).
