but they do sell forwards that you dont need to change the master or line... think there like 450ish
i got these for cheap then just sourced the master and line prob saved me 250
Was that supposed to say "got rid of the floor boards" If so what forwards did you use?
Modified stock ones, basically kicked my pegs forward 2" and reworked my brake pedal to use the old S curved style from a panhead. lays the arm down nicely so you have lift you foot almost to the air cleaner like most shovel setups.
My dragging issues were always with the pipes, used to run turnouts and I would grind the bottom edges off the bells regular, also slapped the kickstand into the primary a few times, busted 2 outers this way. Floorboards didn't last 6 months before I tossed them, even tried the old smaller oval style from the pan days. Should raised the old girl long before I did handles and rides better overall and I can get stupid in the canyons.
May have a complete chromed billet forward setup you may be interested in later. Picked it up when I was at that Indian dealership, puts my feet just a bit to far forward for my liking on the shovel, designed for the softail frames, think the numbers come out to 3" extended or a hair more.
Yeah, my 5'10 was reaching, I hear you. Frame tabs are the same between the 4 speed and the softails. Might look into the old stock setups for the shovels, they tended to tuck the feet back a good bit. Easy to rig up pegs instead of floorboards with them.
I'll do that, thanks... By the way I already checked out the lean angle on the kickstand and I really like it.. Kinda old school... 2" Won't make as much difference as 4" but definitely will make a little difference .
One more thing TwiZted, did you ever run a 3Sun Mars EB2112A cam..? In my 96"er after 3400 rpm it really screams...

TwiZted, I took your advice and found these on Dennis Kirk. https://www.denniskirk.com/v-factor/...prd/579085.sku
Too bad the didn't have rubber on the pegs.. But the should go well. I like the fact that the pegs fold cause I like to put them at an angle to match my feet.

Looks like you can swap the pegs at another time if needed, nice those are folders.
PS . no on the cam, my evos background has been with a few andrews & S&S choices. I like Competition Vthunder cams for my shovel builds.
I'm partial to low to high mid range cams, where we actually live most the time.
