Strange. The fitment page says: Softail - FXST 1984-1993. What model/year are you looking for?
The description for the part also says: The **** features a knurled design that would also fit the 1981-98 FL and 1984-98 FXST models.
Hence, I just assumed (M2 x .4) was the size/thread pitch you were looking for.

Just got off the phone with my dealer and he said he can get it but it's $27.00 and change.
Guess I'll bite the bullet and go with Dennis Kirk.

Yeah, problem is with so many tiny parts thru MoCo, they come in multiple packs and I'm guessing those are in a 10-pack. Dealers don't like to get stuck with basically dead stock and won't order certain things they figure they'll never sell. I've run into that countless times over the years - oil pump gaskets, woodruff keys, screws etc. Sounds like they want to charge you for the entire 10 pack if they order you one.

Looked again, they priced you a **** and screw. The screws come in a 5-pack. Part# 24 and/or #6 in the diagram -

I'm devoting way to much time to this.
Just going to order from Dennis Kirk and be done with it.

Can't argue with that, but my approach is that for the cost of shipping from DK (and I like them a lot) you could order and buy 5 screws for less money from the dealer. Tell them to order the screw and you'll take the whole pack, (which is only a couple bucks more than just one from another source). I order lots of stuff from Surdyke. No point in even stopping by my local dealer since 99% of the time they do not have what I want in stock. Why waste a trip to the dealer to pay full price. If I'm not in a rush, I'll order from one of the Internet HD sellers. Just need to make sure I have enough of an order to meet the minimum for the free shipping. Usually isn't a problem since I'll get a few fellow riders to go in on the order. With just a few maintenance items (filters, O-rings, gaskets, brake pads, bearings, motorclothes gifts, etc) I've never really had a problem hitting the minimum for shipping.
I also like that Surdyke sells the multi-pack parts. It's another cost savings. For instance, on my 2011 Ultra, one is supposed to replace the sealing fasteners (786A) when you re-install the inner primary. Surdyke sells the multi-pack kit that contains all (5) sealing fasteners for $15.65. The local dealer probably charges at least $3.99 for each fastener.

I'm actually placing an order with Surdyke today. If you want me to order you the multi-pack of screws, let me know. Just pay me what they cost and I'll place them in an envelop when I get them and send them to you via US mail.

You could try taking the speedometer and the **** to your local Ace Hardware or Fastenal. They will probably have what you need.

The part number is 67117-85. I have a few left over from my '94 FLSTN. If you pm me your address, I'll send you one.
