‘98 Low Rider completely stock except for SE AC and SE mufflers.
Carb occasionally “burps” or “huffs” when I let off the throttle and then bump the throttle before engaging the clutch shifting into a lower gear (burps or huffs = same symptom different descriptors).
Usually happens after 20+ minutes of cruising at a constant speed. Cannot intentionally duplicate it nor predict when it will happen.
Did it today leaving a light after bumping the throttle before engaging the clutch. First time symptom occurred outside of deceleration/downshift.
Any ideas?
