I second the replacing of the wheel bearings as well and the end play check.
Update:
I fit new tires front and rear, checked the bearings and runout… everything was good.
The new tires drastically improved the handling, that front tire had 18k on it.
Swapping from the fairing to the windshield showed a small, but noticeable improvement too. The fairing provides relief from the wind buffeting to my face… so I give up a little handling for the comfort.
