Buy the pictures you breather appears to be okay. As for the needle bearings and rollers on the lifters that's a lot of metal that went through that motor and at that point I'm not sure what your Sprocket bearing or connecting rod bearings look like.. With that you have no idea how many needle bearings went down into the case on the pickup side and went into the oil pump you got to take that apart too.. Might be a little preliminary but this whole thing is coming apart... The fact that that roller and camshaft got ground down so much just tell me there's a lot of powder metal that went through that entire engine and a couple of the first things to get oil are your crank and connecting rod bearings so I think it's all coming apart.... Sorry dude..

How long have you owned this bike and why did you start ripping it down?

All good, thought as much. Just need to find someone over here that will do the bottom end for me, the rest I am fine with doing.

Bike was my Step Fathers that I got off him about a year ago. Was running up until I started pulling down as was a but untidy so was doing a mini restore on it. He bought it new in 85.

Am a bit relieved actually, it ran pretty well without any unusual noises, I wasn't intending to pull heads off etc. it was a spur of the moment type thing.

Will it's good that you did because otherwise you would have taken out the bottom end...

Wiseco is revamping their website which is why many of the links found on a Google search are broken. There’s no info on the website yet regarding Evo pistons although they still make them which I confirmed with a phone call last Friday. You can still get some tech specs online from vendors who sell their products.
